The study timer that actually blocks.
Tell Tomlock what you need done. It plans your Pomodoros, locks YouTube, Reddit and the rest while you work, and opens them again on your break.
- Unlimited blocking, free forever
- Works in incognito once you allow it
- Browsing history stays on your device
4 sessions, done by 5:40 pm
- Exam prep
- Thesis writing
- Coding bootcamps
- Online courses
- Deep work
- Language learning
Blockers have gaps. Here is how Tomlock handles three of them.
Say it. Start it. Lock in.

Your sites lock that second, across every tab and window. Incognito too, once you allow Tomlock there in Chrome.Break, then repeat
Sites open on breaks and lock again when focus starts. Streaks keep you coming back.
Focus is a game. Win it.
Every finished session of 10 minutes or more earns XP. Level up from Seed to Heirloom, clear daily quests and collect gems. Rare drops are shown honestly: 5% chance on sessions of 15 minutes or more, max one a day. A cosmetic gem shop is planned for a later update, not in this version, no date promised.

AI that gets you off the internet, not deeper into it.
It runs on your computer with Chrome's built-in model, which needs a recent desktop Chrome on a capable computer. Without it you get templates. Nothing you type is sent anywhere unless you are on Pro and switch on the cloud option.

PRO · LATERWe don't want your browsing history. At all.
Chrome does the blocking. Tomlock only asks to access a site when you add it, and keeps a count of block-page visits per site, on your device only.
- No history permission. Tab addresses are read on your device only
- Site access asked one site at a time
- AI runs on your device by default
- Signing in is optional. Signed in, session summaries sync. Pro also syncs your settings and blocklists
Blocking is free. Forever.
Pro is for people who want longer history, sync across browsers and a cloud AI fallback. Strict Lock, schedules and profiles are planned for a later Pro update, no date promised.

Questions
Chrome lets anyone disable an extension, and no blocker can stop that. Tomlock notices and marks the session as interrupted when you turn it back on, so it isn’t free.
Yes, once you switch on Allow in Incognito. Setup takes you there and checks it for you.
Only what you type into it, plus the address (without its query) and title of a page you ask to unblock. It runs on your computer by default. A Pro-only cloud option is off unless you turn it on.
No. Chrome applies the block rules itself, and Tomlock injects nothing into the pages you visit.
Tomlock is built for Chrome 120 and later. We have not finished testing Edge, Brave or Arc yet, and built-in AI works in Chrome only.
